De Courcey Albion have boosted their bank account with news of signing a multi-million deal with Pro Ev on the PS3 & XBOX 360. Luckily for the club none of the players are on contracts so they are not entitled to any of the rewards. The money is likely to be used to purchase goal nets & more importantly a deck chair for the manager to take some strain off his feet on those cold winter mornings. Albion opened their PRO-EV campaign with an impressive 1-0 victory over Inter Milan. The solitary goal came from goalie Michael Walsh who ran the length of the pitch taking on 10 inter players in the process. Manager Ryan was delighted with the win stating “Ah it was absolutely fantastic to watch. Especially seeing as it was on intermediate level. We made the choice at the start that we would give ourselves a proper test and not use the “beginner” setting. The only other thing to worry about was the camera angle. In the end we chose “Upper West Stand” which suited us down to the ground.”
Albion come back to reality this Sunday morning July 25th against AUL Div 2 side Crescent Athletic, who defeated Albion 6-1 last season in the cup. Albion will be looking to redeem themselves in this the 1st of their 4 pre season games. Kick Off 11am – Eli Lilly – Ref: Denis Morley.
