Albion fell short last night after an impressive opening 35mins from the Courcey men as Bandons Senior team proved too strong. Albion gave as good as they got in the opening half with a few decent chances falling to Tim Harrington who was unable to convert against a strong Bandon back four. Bandon scored just before the break after a break on the left wing allowed their striker through to finish at the near post. 1-0 half time.
New manager Dave O’Donovan made some changes at half time in hope of pushing Albion forward for an equaliser. Bandon made it 2-0 after another break from the left left the striker to side foot the ball into the corner. Tiredness crept in and Bandon went 3-0 up with 5 minutes to go with a lovely left footed strike into the left netting. A good run out in Albions last friendly before the season opener this Saturday against Cloughduv.
