Albion will feel disappointed not to have taken anything out of this game against the league leaders. A much improved performance from the 3-0 defeat to Banteer on Monday as Albion dominated for large periods of the game.
Tim Harrington fired in his 16th goal of the season after the break latching on to a great ball through from Ger O’Connell to take it around the keeper and slot home.
Albion pressed on for a second which never came although they came close on occasions. Rylane had chances of their own with JP Hayes heading off the line from a corner.
With about 10 minutes remaining Rylane were awarded a free from about 30 yards out which was converted into the bottom corner to level the match. With about 3 minutes remaining Rylane managed to grab a winner.
Albion piled on the pressure late on but it wasn’t to be. A disappointing result but they will take encouragement from the performance.
Next up for Albion is Strand Utd A at home next Thursday evening.
