From all at the club, I would like to wish Mike “The Human Salmon” Walsh a speedy recovery from a knee injury which will see him out of action for the coming months. Local lad Steve Nyhan is coming to the rescue to stand between the posts for the next while.

Albion have had extremely bad luck on the injury front since last February with John Hipwell (cruciate ligaments), Ben Dillon (cruciate ligaments), JP Hayes (groin), Noel Twomey (groin) and now Walshy (knee) adding to the list. Not to forget Scratch Harrington who had to retire due to a long standing disease known as tiny penis syndrome.
