Season coming to a close

Albion have just 2 games left after a long season which has seen its high points and low points. The highs being:

Beating Shandon Cel 6-2 at home, beating Ballinhassig 2-0 away, beating UCC(Albions bogey team) 7-1 away, beating Rylane 7-2, reaching the Saxone Quarters, reaching the last 16 of the AOH and coming within 30 seconds of a famous win away to premier a side Springfield, Tim Harringtons massive goal scoring record, the re-signing of Frantastic, retaining div 2 status though we had been one of the favourites to going back down.

The lows being:

Losing both John Hipwell & Ben Dillon, both to cruciate knee ligament injuries, losing the Saxone quarters, losing to Springfield in the aoh, losing 4-2 to Ballinhassig to swing promotion in their favour, losing 2โ€“1 to Ballincollig to kill off promotion hopes.

In the larger picture the pros outweigh the cons. The season isn’t over yet though with 2 away trips to Waterloo and Rylane both fighting to stay in the division. Albion have a big list of injuries going into both games but will be looking for maximum points to end the season as high up the table as possible.
