Season coming to a close

Albion have just 2 games left after a long season which has seen its high points and low points. The highs being:

Beating Shandon Cel 6-2 at home, beating Ballinhassig 2-0 away, beating UCC(Albions bogey team) 7-1 away, beating Rylane 7-2, reaching the Saxone Quarters, reaching the last 16 of the AOH and coming within 30 seconds of a famous win away to premier a side Springfield, Tim Harringtons massive goal scoring record, the re-signing of Frantastic, retaining div 2 status though we had been one of the favourites to going back down.

The lows being:

Losing both John Hipwell & Ben Dillon, both to cruciate knee ligament injuries, losing the Saxone quarters, losing to Springfield in the aoh, losing 4-2 to Ballinhassig to swing promotion in their favour, losing 2–1 to Ballincollig to kill off promotion hopes.

In the larger picture the pros outweigh the cons. The season isn’t over yet though with 2 away trips to Waterloo and Rylane both fighting to stay in the division. Albion have a big list of injuries going into both games but will be looking for maximum points to end the season as high up the table as possible.
