ALBION 3-2 Hibernians

De Courcey Albion followed through with their current form with another win today against a resiliant Hibernians team. The game started quiet with few chances until on 25 Declan Murray slotted home a neat left footer in off the post. Hibernins threatened up until the half time whistle but Albions strong back 4 stayed firm.

Albion attacked straight from the off in the 2nd half and doubled the advantage when James O’Driscoll played a high pass through to Ronan O’Driscoll who chipped the keeper. Within 5 minutes Albion were 3-0 up through a great surging run from JP Hayes who finished the move himself.

From here on it was all Hibernians who brought it back to 3-2 with 2 quick counter attacks down the right hand side. Within 2 minutes Hibernians were awarded a penalty and blasted it over the bar to keep the score at 3-2. The visitors would have levelled it with only 10 minutes left on the clock only for a great save by Jody Macnamara between albions posts. Albion held on for another win which will surley move them up the table.
