Cork AUL Div 3

The end of the season is near and Division 3 in the AUL looks like going down to the wire. Brooklodge who looked as if they would walk into Division 2 have lost 3 of the last 4 games and have piled the pressure on themselves as Leeside look to overtake Dunbar to 2nd place and even into 1st if they make the most of their games in hand. Afton Villa cant be written off as having an outside chance of promotion but UCC will play Division 3 football again next season after Dunbars 3-0 win over Parkview Celtic tuesday past.

The following group are all fighting for 6th place with Greenwood in the best position holding 2 games in hand over De Courcey Albion, Carrigtwohill & Parkview. Albion face a daunting last game of the season away to Leeside and Carrig have to play Dunbar away. St. John Boscos are looking to impove their position with a late season surge in result including an impressive 3-2 win over Brooklodge. Hibs look doomed to the bottom of the league after a season that has seen them win just the 1 game.

On the home front Albion will have their best league finish since re-forming in Sept 2007. They will also end on their highest point tally in 6 years and most league wins in the same amount of time.
