De Courcey Albion got their pre-season off to a good start with a 3-1 win over Kinsale’s second team at Eli Lilly on Tuesday evening. These sides last met in the final game of last season with Kinsale winning 4-0. Kinsale finished 2nd in the league and thus gained promotion to the 2nd Division.

 Noel Twomey put Albion in front with a great finish from a superb ball from Micheal Walsh. Ronan O’Driscoll then added a second and De Courcey led 2-0 at the break.

Kinsale pulled one back after the break but John Duggan restored Albions 2 goal lead with an excellently taken free kick.
